Okay, I really love that I saw both of these comments on CoJ and now we're here :-) I should track my own CoJ rabbit trails because there are maaaannnyyy! This was a delight from start to finish. If I were to read The Supper of the Lamb, does it matter if I'm not religious anymore? Will I be able to enjoy it still?

Ooh I want to hear some of your CoJ rabbit trails! I love that they lead so many places beyond 'buy this product.'

I'm not sure how Supper of the Lamb would land--the writing is delightful and I think you could get a lot out of the cooking sections and the general approach to seeing the world with delight. It's definitely deeply theological but not at all churchy, if that makes sense? If you're comfortable with ~spiritual~ but not religious, I think it would still be enjoyable. But if you're feeling sensitive to that whole world, you may want to hold off. If you give it a go, I'd be curious to hear how it feels to you!

Oh, I have plenty of "buy this product" rabbit trails too 😂 But a most recent rabbit trail was from the sexy book post! I started a thread about Dramione fanfic and got some excellent responses hehe.

This is so helpful, thank you! I'm very much still comfortable with spirituality and I love anything that's about approaching the world with delight. Will be putting it on my list! Thank you, thank you!
